Acceptable Use Policy

This service exists so that people can send a legitimate message without handing over their personal phone number. It exists for the surveyor sending a plat, the contractor sending a quote, the clinic confirming an appointment.

It is not a way to contact someone who does not want to hear from you.

Always required

• A real name that identifies you or your business. Every message carries it.
• A legitimate reason to be contacting that person.

Never permitted

• Harassment. Threats, intimidation, abuse, or repeated contact with someone who has not asked to hear from you.
• Contacting someone who has opted out. A recipient who replies STOP is blocked permanently, across every sender. Attempting to reach them another way is a breach of this policy.
• Bulk messaging and marketing. Newsletters, promotions, cold outreach, list-based sending.
• One-time passcodes and authentication codes. We do not carry them, at all. They are blocked automatically.
• Impersonation. Presenting yourself as a person or organisation you are not.
• Fraud and phishing. Including requests to verify accounts, wallets, passwords or recovery phrases.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any content whose possession or distribution is unlawful. Reported to the relevant authorities, always.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, and any threat to distribute it.

How this is enforced

Messages and attachments are screened automatically before payment is taken. Content that clearly breaches this policy is refused and you are not charged. Content that is uncertain is held for a person to review before it is sent.

We retain the sender's IP address and payment reference for every message for 90 days. Where content is unlawful we provide those records to law enforcement.

If you have received something

Report it here. You do not need an account, and you can block the sender permanently by replying STOP to the message.
